Do You Want The Peace That
Only Comes From God?
God wants you to experience peace and have eternal life.
The Bible says:
"We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." -- Romans 5:1
God gave us a will and the freedom of choice because He wants us to choose a life with Him. For those who disobey God and choose to stay in their sinful ways this results in separation from God.
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."--- Romans 3:23
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23
God provided the only way to bridge the gap between God and people.
Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose from the grave to bridge that gap.
The Bible says:
"For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." -- 1 Timothy 2:5
"But God demonstrates his own love for us, in that while we were still sinners,
Christ died for us." -- Romans 5:8
"For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God."
1 Peter 3:18
The only way to have a right relationship with God is to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
You must invite Him into your heart and life.
How can I be saved you ask?
Romans 10:9 says:
"That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord", and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
"Repent therefore and be converted,that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord." -- Acts 3:19
To receive Jesus Christ is to be born again.
Why must you be born again? Because the Lord Jesus said so.
That ought to settle it.
The Lord Jesus said, "Ye must be born again." --- John 3:7
Will you receive Jesus Christ Right Now?
You don't need to have a minister pray for you and you don't even have to come to church
to receive Him. You can receive Him sitting right there at your computer!!
Here is How:
1. All you need to do is admit you are a sinner.
2. Be willing to turn from your sin (repent).
3. Believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins, died on the cross and rose from
the grave.
4. Through prayer, you need to invite Jesus into your heart and to control your life.
Receive Him as your Lord and Savior.
Here is an example how to pray:
Dear Lord Jesus,
I know that I am a sinner and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe you died for my sins
and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite you to come into my heart and life.
I want to trust and follow you as my Lord and Savior.
In Jesus Name, Amen
If you prayed this prayer the Bible says:
"Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved" --- Romans 10:13
When you asked Jesus into your heart, you received the most wonderful gift--
the gift of eternal life.
The Bible says:
"He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things
I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have
eternal life." --- 1 John 5:12-13
When you receive Christ, you are "reborn" into Gods family through the Holy Spirit who
indwells every believer.
With your new life in Christ you should do the following things to have a deeper
relationship with Him:
1. Talk to God in prayer every day.
2. Read your Bible every day to know Christ better.
3. Tell others about Christ and demonstrate your new life by sharing your love and compassion for others in this dying world.
4. Worship, fellowship and serve other Christians in a church where
the Gospel of Jesus Christ is preached.
